Yes. The amount of fruits and vegetables you’ll be eating is A LOT. One of the reasons this works is that I figured out how to combine fruits and vegetables to a) accelerate hair-growth b) get glowing skin and c) achieve a slimmer body.
Trust me, I was just as amazed as you’ll be – even more so at how easy it was. Think about all the expensive face and eye creams out there promising less wrinkles and eliminating dark circles. Their “secret ingredient” of the moment is typically a “fruit” in the form of an acid.
Remember when pomegranate was all the rave in moisturisers and lip treatments? Before that, it was vitamin C from citrus fruits. Why put this chemicalized food on your skin, when you can eat the whole fruit and heal the body from within?
HOW STRICT DO I HAVE TO BE? DO I HAVE TO LIVE ON KALE AND TWIGS?
As strict as you want to be. If you want to take baby steps – that’s ok. If you want to dive in – amazing! How closely you follow the plan relates to how quickly you’ll see results. It really depends on you.
In the first three months, I ate burgers and chips when I craved them. Essentially, I stuck to an 80-20 rule with the plan at first, eliminating all of the inflammatory foods in my own kitchen. Slowly, my cravings for unhealthy food stopped, and you’re not gonna believe this but I actually crave apples and papayas these days.
On the plan, I have recipes for a raw cacao chocolate smoothie and almond flour waffles with maple syrup and blueberries. So yeah, it gets easier.
SHOULDN'T I SEE A DOCTOR INSTEAD?
I continue to see a medical expert for my regular check ups.
I was seeing a GP during the initial stages of my health problems. They told me my thyroid and hormones were fine, and I was just going through menopause. My body told me otherwise…
Then I went to see a Naturopath where I did more intensive testing. From these results, I was diagnosed with hypothyroid, adrenal fatigue, low hydrochloric acid, and food intolerances. I was given a list of foods I couldn’t eat, and a new list of foods that didn’t look appetising. I wasn’t given recipes, or how to prepare them, and I was at a loss.
As I researched further, I came upon the power of whole fruits and vegetables and how to combine them into delicious meals. I wish I’d had this knowledge at the beginning of my journey.

DO I HAVE TO GIVE UP MY LIFE TO MAKE THIS WORK?
This question comes up a lot from executives who dine out often while socialising and entertaining clients. We know this isn’t always easy.
If you frequent restaurants where they accommodate a gluten-free, dairy-free, preservative-free, etc. diet – wonderful! Sometimes, if you’re a long-time patron, they might make these changes for you. Otherwise, I found that changing to restaurants where my requirements were accommodated made for guilt-free and enjoyable dining.
ARE YOU SURE YOU DON'T JUST HAVE GOOD GENES?
I used to think so, right up until my mid-40’s. Then, I noticed subtle changes in my body, like less hair, a puffiness to my body that wasn’t there before. I kept thinking all I had to do was exercise more, eat less bread and cheese, and drink less alcohol. None of this worked.
Suddenly, just before my 50th birthday, the carpets were cleaned in the hallway of the building I live in. I remember the fumes from the chemicals were so strong that it felt like my nostrils were burning, even from inside my apartment. Within days, I looked like a different person. To answer the question, genes will only take you so far. When you live in a world where pesticides, herbicides and chemicals are everywhere, you don’t realise the damage being done to your body through what you eat and breathe. I actually teach clients about the triggers that can activate inflammation in the body.
But speaking of genes, I do fit back into my jeans from when I was 18 ! haha

Absolutely. Not everyone can go cold turkey. I have clients tell me they cheated here and there in the first couple months, and still saw results. Not that I recommend this 🙂
For those who wish it, I phase in elements of the plan slowly, while phasing out inflammatory foods, and can do this at a pace that you are comfortable with.
By adding in the “good foods” you will reap the benefits of reduced inflammation, while seeing outer beauty transformation.
